Marlborough, MA, and Orlando, FL – December 2, 2019
Wind River Environmental (“Wind River”), the nation’s leading provider of non-hazardous liquid waste solutions, announced today that it has acquired Select Processing of Orlando (“Select”) in Orlando, Florida.
Located in Orlando, Florida, Select is a 3 acre, fully permitted facility that processes and disposes of septic, lift station, and grease trap waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
Select owner, Steven Macchio, commented, “Our core business in Long Island has expanded considerably over the last few years, and my family is devoting most of our time in that region.” He added, “I’m pleased to transition this Orlando facility to Wind River, a high quality, professionally-run business.”
David Parry, CEO of Wind River, said, “Select is our first of several planned acquisitions and partnerships in the central Florida market.” He continued, “We have enormous respect for the Macchio family and what they have accomplished. Owning Select’s disposal capabilities will provide an important bridge to connect our three recently-acquired Fort Myers’ businesses with our established Gainesville and Jacksonville operations.”
