Mark Farrell

Vice President of Operations, Wastewater

Mark has over 25 years’ global Operations experience in water and wastewater treatment industry. Including the design, build and installation of over 100 water and wastewater treatment systems globally. Mark has managed over 200 employees in teams at multiple facilities in USA, Europe and Asia, that developed and adopted advanced technologies to solve the most difficult water and wastewater treatment challenges in many industries.

Prior to Wind River Environmental, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer with Koch Membrane Systems Inc. carrying various Engineering and Operations titles over his 17-year career at Koch Membrane Systems Inc.  Before Koch Membrane Systems, Mark was the Engineering Services and Operations Manager at Hydroxyl Systems Inc., where his teams installed, serviced and maintained residential, commercial, maritime and industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, and commercial septage receiving and treatment facilities in Western Canada and North Western USA.  His team developed a first of a kind remote monitoring system for residential units, enabling the company to provide proactive preventative service to all their customers.

Mark has an NHD Civil Engineering degree from Port Elizabeth Technikon.
