Payment Policies

Wind River’s energy recovery charge is calculated as a percentage of applicable service charges. The percentage is based on the U.S. Department of Energy’s On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price Index, which reflects regional diesel fuel price trends. To ensure the charge accurately reflects current fuel costs, the percentage is adjusted periodically in response to changes in the index. These adjustments allow the charge to move both upward and downward as fuel prices fluctuate. The grid below shows how the percentage will changes based on diesel price fluctuations.
