Septic Tank Service

Routine septic pumping service is the key to maintaining a healthy commercial septic system. There is no way to avoid sludge build up, but regular septic pumping helps keep it at a manageable level. Your commercial septic system must be cleaned properly on a regular basis to ensure that your system remains at a healthy liquid balance. Regular septic pumping service will help to identify potential problems that could be lurking under the surface. Our technicians are trained to spot warning signs the home owner would not see.

Wind River Environmental technicians will empty your septic tank and legally dispose of the waste. At every service, our technicians will check the inlet and outlet pipes, measure the sludge thickness, suggest service frequency and write down all of this information for you on our work order. Proper frequency of septic pumping service is a must. Septic tanks are usually quite large and if not serviced properly can have grease build up that becomes hardened and will cause problems, such as back-ups and overflows outside the building, and also draining issues on the inside. As always, our service technician will speak to the manager on site if possible to discuss the septic system condition and any other potential issues along with any product recommendation to help with bacterial levels.

Septic System Repairs

At Wind River Environmental, no septic system repair job is too big or too small. We will not only care for your non-hazardous waste and dispose of it properly, but we will care for your entire commercial septic or grease system. There are many components to your grease or septic system and it is important to keep each individual component in good working condition so that your system and business keeps running smoothly.

Cover Replacement

Safety is priority number one at Wind River Environmental. Your septic or grease covers need to be in perfect condition to ensure the safety of your customers and employees. Wind River Environmental has many different cover sizes in stock and can handle the replacement of any size; concrete or plastic, round or square. We will alert you if we see any weaknesses in your current cover.

Build Up

Some septic or grease systems have covers that are deep underground, which can cause problems when servicing. Wind River Environmental can help you prevent a potential issue by installing a "Build Up", also called a "Riser". This will raise the level of your cover to be closer to the surface or on the surface.

Distribution Box, Inlet/Outlet T's and Baffles

Wind River Environmental can also repair or replace your Distribution Box, Inlet/Outlet T’s and Baffles.

Tank Seal

If you are having an issue with low levels in your septic system, we will inspect for cracks, leaks, or holes in your tank. In most cases, we can then seal your tank in an effort to save the system without replacing the entire tank.

Septic System Rejuvenation

Over the years your leach field area may develop a hardened Bio-Mat under leach field lines. This can prevent your leach field from leaching water properly. A special cleaning may be suggested in an attempt to rejuvenate the soil absorption system. A Boost Custom Cleaning is one option. A White Knight might also be an option if your system qualifies.

Boost Custom Cleaning

During this process we first "de-water" (pump) your leach-field (known as leach-field prep) in order to remove excess saturation. Wind River Environmental will also install a Leach-Field Port which will allow us easy access to the leach-field in future services. During this first step we will "activate" the Boost Bacteria. Next, we will take 25 pounds of boost and mix it with 25 gallons of water. While the mixture is activating, we will use a high pressure water jetting machine to jet each leach line to start breaking up the heavy bio-mat that has built up in your field.

We will then take the activated boost bacteria and pour it into the distribution box where we will jet it down each leach-field line. This will ensure that the bacteria are spread out throughout your entire field.

The Boost will continue to grow over the next few weeks and eat away at the heavy bio-mat allowing your field to leach more easily. Finally, we will add 6 more pounds of boost in your septic tank before we close it up. The bacteria will activate as you use your septic system and eventually seep out into your leach-field as well.

White Knight System

In specific cases, you may be eligible for what we feel would be your “BEST” solution to a clogged drain field. The White Knight System can be used when the conditions of the system are appropriate.

The White Knight system would be installed in your septic tank where it would work as an aerator for your system. By creating an oxygen rich environment in the tank, it will cultivate a huge colony of soil bacteria. With the system completely agitated and aerated, the bacteria will thrive, eating away at the organic materials that enter your tank.

At this time, the bacteria are carried out into the leach field where they will eat away at the heavy bio-mat that has built up under the leach field lines.

As this system works you will need regular pumping and maintenance and regular inspections as well to ensure its success. If the desired results do not appear (after 12 months), there is a full money back guarantee.
To see if your system qualifies, please speak with our White Knight adviser.
