Wind River Environmental Increases Geographical Footprint in Florida with the Acquisition of Metro-Rooter in Jacksonville

Marlborough, MA and Jacksonville, FL – December 13, 2017 – Wind River Environmental (“Wind River”) the nation’s largest full-service liquid waste management service provider, announced today that it has acquired Metro-Rooter, (“The Company”) to increase its service delivery capabilities in Florida.

Metro-Rooter and its predecessor companies were founded in 1978 in Jacksonville, Fl.  with a focus on water and wastewater treatment plant operations.  They have expanded their service offerings to include plumbing contracting, lift station operations and repair, grease pumping services, septic and drain field installations, industrial pipe cleaning and video services.

Metro-Rooter will provide Wind River with a strong foundation in the Northeastern Florida region.
