Wind River Environmental Expands Services in Southeast Florida With 86th Acquisition

Marlborough, MA, and Stuart, FL – December 3, 2019

Wind River Environmental (“Wind River”), the nation’s premier provider of non-hazardous liquid waste solutions, announced today that it has acquired Cooke’s Plumbing & Septic Services (“Cooke’s”) in Stuart, Florida.

With more than 30 employees, Cooke’s is a full-service provider of grease trap, septic pumping, drain field, sewer and drain cleaning, and plumbing services located in Stuart, FL.  For over 50 years, Cooke’s has served the residents and businesses of both Martin and Saint-Lucie counties and prides itself on its customer-centric approach.

Cooke’s owner, Donald Rice, commented, “I wasn’t planning to sell, but as I learned more about Wind River and its capabilities, I realized this would be a really powerful combination.”  He added, “I’m going to work closely with Wind River to ensure a smooth and successful transition for my many long-time employees and customers.”
