What’s the Benefit of CIPP?

Today we’re talking about Perma LinerTM cured-in-place pipelining (CIPP), a solution that restores damaged or deteriorating septic lines. Thanks to modern technologies designed for plumbing, the guesswork that once consumed time and energy in diagnosing problems and making pipe repairs is gone. Cameras can now easily detect what’s happening inside a pipe, and trenchless methods make repairs a cinch. Let’s take a look at the benefits of this groundbreaking solution…or should I say non-groundbreaking?

With CIPP, there is no longer a need to excavate, tear up a parking lot or disturb your landscaping to make pipe repairs. Instead, repairs can be made with a couple access points, saving you a ton of hassle and money.

How Does It Work?
Instead of digging and replacing the bad pipe, a new pipe is created inside of it. A resin tube is inserted into the damaged pipe and positioned using water or air pressure. It is then cured to form a corrosion-resistant, water-tight seal. Pretty cool, huh? Keep in mind, this method is only suitable for pipes with a diameter of at least 2 inches to accommodate the new pipe. Wind River Environmental proudly offers this trenchless solution and wants to save you from the inconvenience of excavation or potential pipe damage. Contact Us if you are having pipeline issues or want to see if you’d be a good candidate for cured-in-place pipelining.
