Waterbury, Vermont acquired its name in the late 1700’s, after King George III granted a charter for land in the Winooski River valley. Many of the early settlers came from Waterbury, Connecticut and named the area after their hometown. The first official settler was James Marsh, who came to the town in 1783. If a marsh is beginning to settle in your backyard, it’s probably due to your septic tank. Call us today for service!
Year-round, Waterbury is definitely not lacking in the adventure department – or Vermontertainment – if you will. In the summer try hiking to one of the Green Mountain Forest summits and cooling down with some ice cream and a tour of the Ben & Jerry’s Factory. Although, we would probably skip straight to the ice cream…and check out the Cold Hollow Cider Mill and Cabot Cheese Shop on the way. Hey, managing liquid waste all day would make you hungry, too. So, if you’re in need of any septic service give us a call today and let us work up our appetites.
Wind River Environmental is committed to extending the life of your septic system. We provide a variety of services including drain cleaning, septic pumping, grease trap cleaning and much more.
