Biggest Liquid Waste Disaster of the Month
The fall season started off with lots of rain, causing leaves to fall at a fast pace. The mix of excess rain and leaves was a bad combination for city storm drains. One of the catch basins on a busy street had become clogged with leaves and other debris that had washed in from the heavy rains. As a result, water was gushing into the street, and the overflow prompted major traffic delays.
The municipality contacted Wind River, knowing we could quickly solve the problem and get traffic moving again. We sent out our emergency service team with a hy vac truck to clean out the clogged catch basin. In no time, we removed the leaves and debris so the rainwater could flow freely into the storm drain, and we prevented any car accidents from occurring due to a flooded roadway. Rely on Wind River’s Municipal Services day or night, 7 days a week.
