History: Serving New England since 1946

You don’t get to be the largest and most well-respected company of any kind overnight. In the case of the Wind River Environmental group of companies, it all began way back in 1946, when founder Denny Currier of Middleton, Massachusetts began servicing local homes from his “honey wagon.”

From there, and beginning in 1999, Wind River began bringing together some of the best-known and respected names in the industry. Key milestones along the way include:

• 1999: Wind River Environmental is founded in Hudson MA by David Dodson, John O’Connell and Mary Chowning.
• 2000: Wind River Environmental expands into Rhode Island.
• 2001: Wind River Environmental expands into Connecticut and New York.
• 2002-2008: Wind River Environmental continues its expansion throughout New England, entering the restaurant market by providing inside grease, drain, and commercial plumbing.
• 2009: Wind River Environmental merges with Residual Management Services (RMS) and expands further by adding the EarthCare brand to the Wind River Environmental group of companies.
• 2010-2013: Wind River Environmental continues its expansion with the acquisition of several additional companies.
• 2014: Wind River Environmental merges with Kaiser-Battistone, introducing the third brand in the Wind River Environmental group of companies.
• 2015: Wind River Environmental merges with Kline’s Services, adding a fourth brand to the Wind River Environmental group of companies.
