John P. O'Connell

John O'Connell is a co-founder and CEO of Wind River Environmental, the largest provider of non-hazardous liquid waste services in the Northeast. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Hudson, Massachusetts, Wind River Environmental has pursued a roll-up strategy and now services customers from Maine to New Jersey.

Prior to Wind River Environmental, Mr. O'Connell had a successful career in IT, Finance and Operations in big-box retail companies having held senior positions at Autozone, Sears and Marshalls. Mr. O'Connell is also on the Board of Directors of Fast Water Heater, a Seattle, Washington based company which provides plumbing and water heater services on the West Coast.

Mr. O'Connell holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern New Hampshire University and an M.B.A. from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University.

David Dodson

David Dodson founded Wind River Environmental along with John P. O’Connell in 1999. Mr. Dodson serves as Chairman of Wind River Environmental after having worked as CEO from 1999 to 2004. Mr. Dodson is also the founder and President of Project Healthy Children, a non-governmental organization that works with governments and private industries to establish food fortification and supplementation programs to improve the health of women and children around the world. Project Healthy Children currently works in Honduras, Malawi, Rwanda, and Liberia. Prior to starting Project Healthy Children, Mr. Dodson was the CEO or Chairman of six for-profit companies. As well, Mr. Dodson has served on the boards of 16 companies in which he was also a private investor. He is currently on the New England board for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and a member of the faculty of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Dodson holds a B.A. from Stanford University (Economics), and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
